Khanh Hoa Aims to Become an International Event Hub
Khanh Hoa Province is accelerating the development of MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), aiming to become a premier destination for international events in Vietnam.

In 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed over 10.6 million visitors, including 4.5 million international tourists, generating more than VND 52,300 billion in revenue. These achievements have strengthened its role as one of Vietnam’s leading tourism centers. To ensure sustainable growth and greater added value, the province is focusing on expanding the MICE sector.

With well-developed tourism infrastructure, diverse transportation networks, abundant travel products, and a strategic location in the heart of Central Vietnam, Khanh Hoa offers ideal conditions to host large-scale events. Unlike leisure travelers, MICE visitors—mainly business leaders and professionals—stay longer and spend more, providing significant economic benefits. Moreover, MICE events can be held year-round, reducing seasonality and maintaining stable hotel occupancy and revenue streams.
Developing international convention and exhibition centers, upgrading airports and cruise ports.
Training skilled staff to meet global service standards.
Embracing digital transformation, eco-friendly event initiatives, and supportive policies for organizers.
Positioning itself as a top-tier MICE destination is an essential step to elevate Khanh Hoa’s tourism brand on the international stage. With expanding opportunities, the province now stands at a “golden moment” to write a new chapter in sustainable, high-quality tourism development.
